A day with a Princess

I thought I would write while fresh on my memory,
The time I spent this weekend ,
with my great grand daughter Desi,
Today April 25,2009.
Desi and I seem to have always had a connection,
And she reminds me of myself .
This weekend was an introduction to nature,
And how much more amazing it is to see the world through
The eyes of a two year old,
All the wonderment and magic of discovery,
From seeing a silver line
we followed through the bubbles in the sky.
‘Desi calls clouds bubbles, and explain that it was a jet plane,
But perhaps I was wrong,
perhaps it was angels playing.

Drawing silverlines in the sky,
And playing in the clouds of bubbles.
We also picked flowers,
And I made her clover bracelets,
She gave me yellow wild flowers,
She took her baby out in a stroller,
We searched the trees
and skies in hopes of seeing birds,
And I gave her a wind catcher,
Today was a windy sunny day,
And she loved the wind
as it made the windcatcher spin.
I loved watching the wind blow into her hair,
Maybe God wanted her to feel the wind today,
and perhaps remind me of how things
unseen with the eyes have power,
and can be felt.
We spent part of the day watching Disney,

She loves the Little Mermaid.
Also we had time for Sponge Bob Sqaurepants,

a favorite cartoon of hers. She loves talking on my cell,
and we decided to call her great great grandma
Grandma GG,she loves to call her
,and she loves to call her papaw, And she loves to watch family videos
with her daddy and family in them.
She loves to call Crystal too
,and when my friend Susan called,
Susan jokingly said that Desi
will need her own cell phone soon.haha
Desi counts to about 7,learning abc’s ,
and knows her colors.
It’s amazing that I have a great grand daughter.
She is a little princess, and I am blessed.

A Princess Story

Monday-Nov 16,2009

Desi always said she wanted to be Snow White,
So I bought her a little snow white princess dress,
She came over yesterday ,
And put the Snow White dress on,
Than looked very stressed,
Because she didn’t know where the crown and wand was,
She said ,I can't find my magic,
After a frantic search both the missing crown and the wand were found,
And the little girl who was born to be a princess,
Found her magic.
