Believe
There have been times that I look back.
and I think maybe my losses in life,
of things I could have had is because I didn't believe in myself,
Believing in a person's own self worth and ability
to achieve is important.
If only I had believed ,
I think giving a young person
the encouragement of believing in them,
is giving them the key to their dreams,
from love to professions,
it all starts with the word believe.
To find self esteem.
and the inner strength and faith
To believe in yourself can be a
obstacle and a challenge
that is often a serious unknown roadblock in life.
Believing in God is important spiritually.
but believing in yourself is important emotionally.
The biggest mountain in a person's life can be a lack of faith
in their self
.
And that roadblock of a lack of faith in yourself
is often hiding and waiting to ambush a person
that doesn't realize it's there holding them back.
When you find your weakness
you at least know your enemy,
and perhaps can fight .
Often our worst enemy is within.
I believe that when a person finds the key
to unlock doors that hold dreams ,
it's a moral obligation to offer the key to others,
so they too can escape from the prison of self doubt,
to the freedom of finding their own ability to reach their dreams.

The Value of life
After seeing some of the clauses in health reform,
it makes me wonder,
at what moment has society found that we can
play God choosing the value of our own life, a elderly person's life,
or a unborn child's life?
In the health reform bill there are clauses
which state that the right to die consultations,
and physician-assisted suicide. euthanasia
will be paid for, Also Abortions will be government funded.
This means that tax payers even those who are against abortions
and physician-assisted suicide. euthanasia
will pay for it.
I look at physician-assisted suicide. euthanasia
and remember a few years ago it was considered murder,
Jack Kevorkian was found guilty of murder for
physician-assisted suicide. euthanasia
But in a few short years physician-assisted suicide. euthanasia
is now socially accepted and even wanted,
It seems cheaper and helps the budget
to kill the elderly instead of putting more money into health care
faculties, nursing homes etc.
and it's cheaper to kill the unwanted ,unborn babies,
than to offer welfare, birth control awareness, and more adoption services.
When did society lose the moral value for life?
There may be another smile, another moment to smile,
to laugh, to love, taken away.
A child that may have brought a gift to the world,
the gift refused and thrown away,
Dreams killed before they were born.
Murder is still murder ,suicide is still suicide
even when wrapped with a pretty ribbon.
Our tax payers do not mind paying for government officials luxury
of 25 million dollar Limo and private jets ,65,00 a night Presidential suites,
which has placed our country in a financial crisis not the
programs of the needy,which are constantly cut from the budget,
why aren't Limos and private jets cut from the budget
before education.and programs for the needy,elderly and disabled,
hungry,homeless and the children are cut from the budget schools are closed,
laid off at a time when education is the most needed
college students graduate with huge loans minimal 60,000 and maybe up to 200,000,
Meaning after graduation job or no job the student
will be required to make payments that may go as much as $800 a month,
depending on the amount of loans,time and interest rate
if we can't afford to help our American families,
as we encourage out kids to get a education with the possiblity no job is there,
but the loan still will need to be paid.
how can we afford to keep luxury going for President on down to the police jury and mayors?.
It is the luxury that tax payers pay for for the government officals,
not the programs for the needy that should be cut from the budget.
When did this country start feeling a obligation and a social acceptance of keeping
government officials in luxury,
while losing compassion and the feeling of moral obligation
for humanity and the value of life?
For people who would commit suicide but are too afraid,
People who don't want to live,
As we offer suicide prevention to some,
we offer assisted suicide to others,
When a person's life is of no value to society,
don't worry!
