The Spirit of God
To me God is the spirit..'breath.
the word spirit is beautifully defined
The English word "spirit" comes from the Latin
spiritus, meaning "breath" (compare spiritus asper),
but also "soul, courage, vigor",
To me the spirit of God offers comfort.
and a feeling of peace.
The spirit of God offers forgiveness.
and touches the heart with compassion for others,
God is love
love for humanity.
love for others
love for your self.
People can see God..
when they look at someone
with a Godly heart.
a loving heart
a giving and compassionate heart
a forgiving heart.
Roots
When I think about God lately,
I find times of doubt,
faith fading.
and looking at the existence of God.
the story of Jesus,
and the stories of the Bible which I do understand
that many are parables,
but the entirely of the belief in God does not make sense,
but yet the most logical and intellectual people
still find faith to believe in His existence,
and than I think about all of life that doesn't make sense.
the air, the breeze. things we don't see.
but yet we feel.
and even though my faith at times fade.
it seems renewed because of what I feel
in my heart.
I can't find or give proof of God's existence,
I can' t say what is truth.
raised on fairy tales,
I still believe in happy endings to love,
raised on Santa Claus,
I still believe that love for humanity
brings forth the spirit of Jesus,
raised on the story of the birth of Christ.
I still believe in forgiveness,
I guess my roots are so well planted
in the beliefs I have ,
that when the wind blows.
the leaves may fall.
but the tree still stands firmly,
bowing to the grace of God.

Gentle wind blows,
over the rains mist,
My heart knows,
That God exists.
I have seen the clouds,
silverlined
He told me a rainbow
was there for me to find.
I know that He's mine,
and I am His,
I know in my heart,
God exists.
I have seen the light,
in the darkest night,
No longer blind,
I have seen the stars shine
I have touched the rose,
I have felt heaven's kiss.
My heart knows,
God exists.
Is the darkest hour,
I have felt His power,
I have seen His flower.
I have seen the light,
from the watch tower.
I have seen the sun shine though
a rain shower.
I have touched the rose.
I have felt heaven's kiss.
Gentle wind blows.
over the rain's mist.
My heart knows.
That God Exists.
My fate is sealed by grace

The time and the date,
Sealed my fate.
YHWH
I now have salvation.
Such a sweet story of grace.
A promise that someday,
I'll see God's face.
Does it matter the time or the place?
My fate is sealed by grace.
What is a moment in time to God?
Infinite ,and eternal,
All creation.
all things that exist,
The universe is His,
What words can explain?
His eternal flame?
Far beyond the stars I see God gaze,
My dreams are ,
of walking though golden gates.
My fate is sealed by grace.
On a rose path that angels have trod,
Through this worldly maze,
I see though the haze,
of a heavenly place.
In my heart,
I feel God's embrace.
Sweet eternal waters,
I thirst to taste.
Someday,
I'll see God's face.
My fate is sealed by grace.
